It All Started With a Dream

Named after their beloved daughter, Ariel, Ariel’s Special Events Facility was founded in 2002 by West Columbia natives, Andy and Kelly Newman. Their journey began with a dilapidated building and the dream of creating a beautiful, timeless, and unique event venue. After lots of hard work and long transformation, Ariel's finally opened its doors in 2003 and has since had the privilege to host hundreds special events for the family and friends (new and old) in the community.

As time has marched forward, Ariel’s is now proudly managed by McKenzie Newman and her husband AJ Newman. Though a new generation now cares for the events at this special place, the passion, dedication and empathy remain the same for all those who come here.
